Sherry Cake


For 4th of July I made a recipe from this cookbook. (Currently my favorite) Incredibly easy, delicious and was the perfect Parve dessert to bring to a BBQ with all my jewish in laws!!!

Sherry Cake
1 pkg yellow cake mix
1 ( 5.1oz) package vanilla instant pudding
4 eggs
3/4 cup vegetable oil
3/4 cup cream sherry
1 teaspoon nutmeg

Combine ingredients in a mixer and blend well. Pour into greased and floured (I like to reserve some of the dry cake mix to dust the pan) bundt pan and bake at 300 degrees for 50 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan. Allow cake to cool completely before dusting with powdered sugar.
